Top 10 Smash Bros Fighter Ballot Votes Meme

Edit: Well...this aged fantastically didn't it? I got FIVE of my top ten, with three more as Mii Costumes, one of them being the biggest get of all, Sora. I couldn't be happier.

The Smash Bros Fighter Ballot. Holy hell. Nintendo knows how to make an apocalypse. Gamers young and old, nostalgiajunkies, even game devs want in on the action to see their favorite characters get into arguably the greatest crossover ever created next to Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney. With the inclusion of DLC characters, Nintendo has opened up a realm of new possibilities as well as extended the lifecycle of Smash 4 in similar fashion to how they did with Mario Kart 8. So, because I'm hungry for easy views and love giving controversial opinions, I'm going to give my top 10 picks and why I believe they should make it into Smash Bros. This list is in no particular order, just picks I feel all deserve a chance.

Number 1: Shantae
Shantae

Oh boy, this belly dancing genie. Shantae has had a long history with Nintendo dating all the way back to the Game Boy Color. Every single one of her games has been a Nintendo exclusive until now, and even the new game Pirate's Curse is a 3DS exclusive. Shantae isn't just popular in the States, she also has a surprising massive following in Japan, so she'd fit overseas as well. But what really makes her an obvious choice, is the fact that Wayforward themselves really want her to get in. www.kickstarter.com/projects/1… Remember the last time a dev really wanted a video game character to get into Smash? That was Kojima, and because of that Snake got in. Shantae has a huge chance, but she needs them votes.

Number 2: Snake/Big Boss
Metal Gear Solid

Who else was soulcrushed that Snake got cut? It wasn't because of copyright, because Konami said they would've happily helped get him back in, and Kojima wanted him back as well. I was especially disappointed because back in the days of Brawl he was my main, and I did really good as him. (Mainly because everyone else kept tripping. ) In a recent tweet, Konami said that despite Kojima leaving, they still would allow Snake to return. We need to show Sakurai that we want him back though. I want my main back, but I can't do it alone. "Now go! Let the legend come back to life!" -Revolver Ocelot.

Number 3: Inklings
Splatoon

Everyone on Deviantart, 8chan's /v/, and Tumblr pretty much want Inkling Girl/Boy in the game so I'm going to make this short. They're new, they're interesting, and they'd have an interesting fight mechanic with the ink similar to Little Mac's power meter.

Number 4: Isaac
Golden Sun

What makes Smash great is it gives life to lesser known Nintendo titles. It did that with Earthbound/Mother, Fire Emblem, and now Xenoblade. Golden Sun has a massive cult following with RPG fans, and more representation of other Nintendo games would be great. He'd probably just be another sword fighter and the game has too many of those already, but I believe with the other DLC characters it would balance it out.

Number 5: Sora
Kingdom Hearts

Oh my god I'm such a hypocrite. But Sora has other projectile based specials so it balances it out. Ever since the inclusion of third party characters in Brawl, Sora has been a requested character. All the spinoff Kingdom Hearts games (Except Birth By Sleep) have been on Nintendo systems. He'd be a fun character, and has so much potential for crazy moves, like his side B would be he throws his keyblade like a Boomarang. He just has so much potential, and he could have Roxas as an alternate costume.

Number 6: Viridi
Kid Icarus Uprising

Hey, Palutena got in, so why not Viridi? She's a hilarious character that would make a great Falco for Palutena. Her nature powers with her scythe would make great attacks, and her final would be even greater with her dropping a reset bomb on everyone.

Number 7: Princess Daisy
Super Mario Land

We have Peach and Rosalina, but no Daisy? She'd probably just be a clone of Peach but there's possible alternate moves such as the stuff she does in the Mario spinoffs, like Mario Tennis. Plus, I want to troll people by spamming her "Hi I'm Daisy!" taunt. >:3

Number 8: Chorus Men
Rhythm Heaven

Remember back in Brawl there was a bullshit shit called Hanenbow from a game no one heard of called Electroplankton? Yeah...that was a thing. Surely there's a more well known and popular Nintendo music game. There was, called Rhythm Heaven. When Smash 4 was being developed, there were rumors that the Chorus Men would become characters. Since they were false, we kinda liked the idea of them being in the game. They'd be an interesting character similar to Mr. Game and Watch, and it would be more representation for other Nintendo games.

Number 9: Banjo & Kazooie
Banjo Kazooie

Everyone who had an N64 want these two to get in. I know what you're thinking "Microsoft owns them, they're not going to let them in." That's what you think, but recently in an interview with Xbox President Phil Spencer, he said he'd love Banjo Kazooie to get in, and they're open to the idea. The dream is still real boys. The question is, how would they work? Would it be one character like Duck Hunt, or two characters with limited A.I. like Ice Climbers and Rosalina & Luma?

Number 10: James Bond
Goldeneye

Wait...let me explain. I know this is an extremely bizarre choice and the fact that this isn't a video game character. I will explain my choice easily, for one reason I want Bond in. In the late 90s on a console called the N64, there was a legendary first person shooter made by Rare called Goldeneye. That one game has made so many fun gamenights with teens and college students in dorms, and was essentially the Call of Duty of yesteryear. How would Bond fit as a fighter? Lots of ways. His basic attack would be marital arts moves, his regular B he shoots his Walther pistol in a similar fashion to Palutena's auto reticle, down B he places C4 like Snake, and his final smash he pulls out the Golden Gun and fires it similar to Zelda and Dark Pit's final. I know this is a longshot and has little to no chance, but just think of the possibilities of the Goldeneye James Bond. They could add a Goldeneye stage as well based off the Dam level with remixes of the original N64 music. It's not like Nintendo doesn't know that we loved Goldeneye, as there was a remake a few years ago. He'd be an interesting character and one that I feel deep in my heart should be in Smash.
